Nando's Crewe, UK.

Previously a run down video store the Nando's Crewe site was a challenging project. A skylight and full height gable end windows were introduced to increase the natural light. Reclaimed timber cladding and false rafters were installed to create a 'warehouse' feel. Bespoke features include handmade clay and patterned pendant lights, stitch patterns on banquette seating and carved oak waiting bench. Shuttered concrete was used to create a timber texture to an otherwise hard finish to compliment the concrete tile and timber flooring. Hand dyed fabric woven onto bamboo poles above the servery counter brought a punch of colour to the scheme.
