The café tenancy is located within South Coast Surfboards, where premium handcrafted surfboards line the walls. Surfers can, with a delicious coffee or smoothie in hand, peruse the many beautiful boards on offer. Not only does the customer see the open kitchen full of activity, but the surfboard workshop can also be seen from the café. This is a truly unique café, with so much character and life.

Authenticity is at the heart of the design for the Kuya. The casual and welcoming ethos is expressed through materiality including timbers, concrete and woven pendant shades.
